Equipped with the right applications, a computer can be of great help in virtually any domain of activity. When it comes to designing and precision, no other tool is as accurate as a computer. Moreover, specialized applications such as AutoCAD give you the possibility to design nearly anything ranging from art, to complex mechanical parts or even buildings.
Suitable for business environments and experienced users
After a decent amount of time spent installing the application on your system, you are ready to fire it up. Thanks to the office suite like interface, all of its features are cleverly organized in categories. At a first look, it looks easy enough to use, but the abundance of features it comes equipped with leaves room for second thoughts.
Create 2D and 3D objects
You can make use of basic geometrical shapes to define your objects, as well as draw custom ones. Needless to say that you can take advantage of a multitude of tools that aim to enhance precision. A grid can be enabled so that you can easily snap elements, as well as adding anchor points to fully customize shapes.
With a little imagination and patience on your behalf, nearly anything can be achieved. Available tools allow you to create 3D objects from scratch and have them fully enhanced with high-quality textures. A powerful navigation pane is put at your disposal so that you can carefully position the camera to get a clearer view of the area of interest.
Various export possibilities
Similar to a modern web browser, each project is displayed in its own tab. This comes in handy, especially for comparison views. Moreover, layouts and layers also play important roles, as it makes objects handling a little easier.
Sine the application is not the easiest to carry around, requiring a slightly sophisticated machine to properly run, there are several export options put at your disposal so that the projects itself can be moved around.
Aside from the application specific format, you can save as an image file of multiple types, PDF, FBX and a few more. Additionally, it can be sent via email, directly printed out on a sheet of paper, or even sent to a 3D printing service, if available.
To end with
All in all, AutoCAD remains one of the top applications used by professionals to achieve great precision with projects of nearly any type. It encourages usage with incredible offers for student licenses so you get acquainted with its abundance of features early on. A lot can be said about what it can and can't do, but the true surprise lies in discovering it step-by-step.

What is AutoCAD?

AutoCAD is a computer-aided design (CAD) and drafting software application that is used to create 2D and 3D drawings. It was developed and marketed by Autodesk and was first released in December 1982 for the MS-DOS platform, it is now available for a variety of platforms. AutoCAD supports the CADD standard and can be used for both personal and professional use.

Before AutoCAD was introduced, most commercial CAD programs ran on mainframe computers or minicomputers, with each CAD operator (user) working at a separate graphics terminal, which requires a specialist graphics operator. After AutoCAD was introduced, desktop PC applications were developed which supported the MS-DOS platform, allowing any user, with minimal CAD skills, to work in a CAD environment.

AutoCAD is a desktop application that can be used in either a full-screen or windowed mode and it is available on a variety of platforms, including Windows, Mac, and Linux.

AutoCAD is capable of producing 2D drawings, with features including the ability to lay out and design infrastructure, infrastructure, and construction drawings; link and modify drawings, and integrate drawings with 2D and 3D drawings.

Autodesk also offers AutoCAD Add-ons (third-party software products developed by third-party companies), which can be used to extend or modify the capabilities of AutoCAD.

Autodesk 3D Studio Max
The earliest release of AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT, and 3D Studio Max was in 1988. 3D Studio Max was released in June 1988 for the first time with an original price of $4,995. The release of AutoCAD LT was September 1989.

The name AutoCAD was first mentioned in a US Patent filed by Autodesk Inc. on December 6, 1989, titled “Method and apparatus for preparing and rendering computer-based architectural plans”, (U.S. Patent 5,159,522) and was granted to Autodesk on October 20, 1992.

Autodesk retained the AutoCAD trademark, as well as the AutoCAD LT trademark (first used in 1990) for a long period after Autodesk 3D Studio Max and AutoCAD 3D was released in 1992. In 2011, Autodesk decided to retire the “AutoCAD LT” nameplate, leaving it up to the user to decide how to reference the product.

The present invention relates to a structure of a resin lens element for eyeglasses.
Lens elements for eyeglasses are conventionally made of a hard resin material. To be more specific, the lens element includes a lens portion and a mounting portion. The mounting portion is provided with a lens mounting portion (porthole portion) for being mounted on a peripheral edge of a bridge portion of an eyeglass frame, as well as a peripheral edge of a lens receiving hole defined by the bridge portion and the lens mounting portion.
As shown in FIG. 7, the lens element is subjected to injection molding with a mold and a cavity for molding the mounting portion and the lens receiving hole is defined between a molding die (mold) 1 and a first molding die 2. Then, the lens receiving hole and the lens portion are molded by injecting a molten resin (for example, PPS resin) in the cavity, after which the molding die is opened and the mold is detached from the lens element.
The lens element is transported to a subsequent process step while being held by a lens holding device (not shown). However, when the lens element is held by the
