my name is faxcool. i have a dell inspiron laptop with windows 7 ultimate installed on it. i want to upgrade it to windows 8.1 but my laptop has a corrupted bootloader so i cant boot it. i have to repair the bootloader or any other alternative which is going to work for me. i cant activate it because of the aforementioned problem. i can however use my windows 7 ultimate 64bit iso but its not activated. i have activated it once before but it didnt work. i read some articles where people were able to activate it using a retail key. i have one. i want to know if it will work as i cant seem to find the official windows 8.1 64bit iso. i have tried many times but it says the key is not valid. i also tried pressing the windows button + r and got my windows 8.1 64bit iso but it also says the key is not valid.

i need to know if microsoft has a cd for the home premium version of windows 7 64 bit ultimate english. i see the 32 bit version on their website and want the home premium. will i be able to put that 32 bit version on my home premium 64 bit version?
