It didn't put a strain on the computer's performance in our tests, running on a low amount of CPU and RAM. On the other hand, we couldn't get it to work in some cases, as the statistics didn't make any records of typing tasks. On top of that, it showed an error dialog whenever we attempted to generate the TXT report.
We are also keeping in mind that Typing Stats hasn't received updates for a long time. Nevertheless, you can test it for yourself if you're looking to find out more information about your typing activity while carrying on with your normal tasks on the computer.

Laparoscopic pancreatic tail resection is technically demanding, as the most crucial and challenging step is the anastomosis of the jejunum to the pancreatic parenchyma, which cannot be performed using the endo-GIA stapler. Also, when performing a laparoscopic pancreatic tail resection, there is a high risk of damaging the inferior mesenteric artery (IMA). There is a lack of data comparing laparoscopic pancreatic tail resection to open pancreatic resection. The aim of this study was to describe the results of our early experience with laparoscopic pancreatic tail resection. Between February 2004 and September 2005, ten patients were included in a prospective clinical trial. Seven patients underwent laparoscopic pancreatic tail resection, and 3 patients underwent open pancreatic resection. The demographic data were compared between the two groups. All procedures were performed successfully. There was a significant difference between the two groups in terms of operative time, blood loss, and the length of hospital stay. Also, the two groups were similar in terms of postoperative morbidity and mortality. Laparoscopic pancreatic tail resection is feasible in selected patients.
